Digifit Connect2 ANT+ Transceiver

Digifit Connect2 (DC2) is a wireless transceiver that plugs directly into the dock connector of your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Workout indoors or outside while the free version of the Digifit app tracks elapsed time, calories burned, time in zones, speed, cadence, distance, pace, power (watts), weight and sleep score. With a full functionality upgrade, the Digifit app can be used as a heart rate monitor.

The DC2 is compatible with over 80 ANT+ health and fitness sensors, such as: heart rate monitors, foot pod pace sensors, bike sensors, power meters from brands including Garmin, Adidas and Timex, etc. Upload your data to Training Peaks, Facebook, New Leaf and more. 1 year limited manufacturer warranty covering replacement of defective product.

Digifit gives you access to all of your iPod playlists by tapping on the music arrow on the top of your workout dashboard. However, if you are a music lover like I am, you probably listen to music from multiple sources. Digifit allows users to listen to iPod content (by artists, albums, songs, podcasts, genres) and music from third party apps including Pandora and Spotify. If you have a multitasking device (see below for specifications), you may start your iPod or Pandora music before launching Digifit, or toggle between apps while your Digifit workout is paused. Multitasking capable devices include iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod 3rd, 4th or 5th generation, iPad, iPad 2 and must be running iOS 4.x.

With the introduction of Apple iOS 5, Digifit can now run in the background and allow you to multitask! With this new functionality in mind, if you ever receive a phone call or text while tracking a workout with Digifit, you can answer the call or respond to the text without worrying that you will lose valuable workout data.

Note: The DC2 is not compatible with Polar heart rate monitors or many other apps, including RunKeeper and any MapMy apps. The DC2 works with the Digifit, Fitbit, New Leaf, TrainingPeaks, Withings Scale, and Zeo Sleep Manager apps.
